Job description

Job Title: Production Technician

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Hours: Monday-Thursday 4-10’s

Starting pay: $18.00 per hour (some overtime)

Position Summary: The Production Technician is responsible for mixing and loading ingredients for processing into machinery using hand tools and other devices. This position also works assigned stations on a production line following both written and oral instructions.

Primary Position Responsibilities

• Production techs work manufacturing tablets, packaging tablets, packaging liquids, cartoning products, and washing and cleaning equipment parts and production rooms.
• Work assigned station on the production line following verbal and/or written instructions.
• Complete required documentation neatly and accurately.
• Must comply with the current Good Practices (cGMP’s) for drug products as defined in Code of Federal Regulation, Title 21 Parts 210 and 211, SOP's and company policies in all work.
• Reinforce department and company policies to promote and support a positive work environment.

Other Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production area before and after runs.
• Observe machinery during production to ensure safety and efficient operation.
• Add/mix and load ingredients for processing into machinery using hand tools or other devices.
• Hand package, assemble, or seal products as instructed, when necessary.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
• Able to lift 50 pounds from the floor.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience on a production line.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, and the ability to use a calculator.
• Willing and able to immediately adapt to changes in policies and procedures.

Valued but not required skills and experience

• Previous work experience in clean room and laboratory.
• Experience and aptitude at machinery assembly and adjustment.
• Proactive approach to problem resolution and problem solving ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $14.00 per hour
