Job summary

MKS Power Solutions in Rochester, NY seeks a Production Technician to partner with Operations for setup and testing of boards and assemblies. You will support test development and report to the Production Test Supervisor, with a Monday–Friday 7am–3:30pm shift.

Preferred applicants will have a 2-year electronics degree, high voltage experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work overtime. Travel is minimal.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test boards, subassemblies and full assemblies.

• Report issues clearly to Technical Operations and help solve them.

Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Production Technician at MKS Power Solutions, Rochester NY, you will partner with Operations for setup and testing of boards, subassemblies and full assemblies. Also to assist Technical Operations in test development of future MKS Products. In this role, you will report to the Production Test Supervisor.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Responsible for setup and testing of boards, subassemblies and full assemblies.
• Follows test specifications, methods and procedures provided by Technical Operations
• Troubleshoot routine unit problems
• Works with the technical operations department on developing future MKS products
• Reports issues clearly to Technical Operations and assists in problem solving
• Travel Requirements: Up to 0% of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

• 2-year degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience and/or military experience in electronics
• Experience with high voltage
• Able to work a set schedule: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail in the tasks that you are assigned to complete

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $18.89 - 31.49hr is range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
