Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Production Technician to assemble custom diesel and natural gas generator systems from drawings and specifications. You will install mechanical, electrical, fuel, exhaust, cooling, and support components while ensuring quality and reliability.

Work in a hands-on manufacturing environment, interpret engineering drawings, perform precision measurements, and collaborate to meet production goals and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and specifications.
  • Experience with hand and power tools; measuring instruments a must.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and engineering drawings to assemble generator systems.
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, fuel, exhaust, cooling and support components.
  • Test, inspect, and verify performance and quality per specs.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area; document labor and QC data.

If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and want to build a long-term career with a stable and growing company, we'd like to meet you.Position SummaryThe Production Technician plays a key role in the assembly of custom diesel and natural gas-powered generator systems and related equipment. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
