Job summary

Copa Health is seeking a Full-Time Production Technician in Mesa, AZ to support individuals with disabilities, assist with production operations, and coach assigned tasks to ensure safety and quality. You will prepare shipments, maintain supplies, and operate equipment (training provided) while collaborating with community partners to foster an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Requires one year of production/warehouse experience.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or other background checks.
  • Must meet Copa’s driver authorized driving requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the maintenance of departmental operations to achieve compliance with contract requirements, accreditation, licensing and monitoring standards, agency procedures, Federal/State/Local regulations and all other licensing/regulatory agencies as directed.
  • Develop rehabilitation plans that fit individuals aptitudes, educational levels, physical abilities, and career goals;
  • Seek operations approval on various stages of work completion from authorized supervisor.
  • Monitor and record individuals progress to ensure that goals and objectives are met;
  • Confer with individuals to discuss their options, and goals so that rehabilitation programs and plans for accessing needed services can be developed;
  • Arrange for physical, mental, academic, vocational and other evaluations to obtain information for assessing individuals needs and developing rehabilitation plans;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community referral sources, such as schools and community groups

We’re seeking Full-Time Production Technician

that will help empower individuals with disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. In this hands‑on role, you'll provide quality support while assisting with production operations, coaching individuals on assigned job tasks, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on time. You will be preparing shipments, maintaining workshop supplies, operating equipment such as forklifts and delivery trucks (training/qualification required), collaborating with community business partners, and ensuring a safe, inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Prefer a high school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
  • Requires any combination of training, education, and/or experience equal to one year experience in production/warehouse type work.
  • Related experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or other background checks as needed.
  • Ability to meet Copa’s driver authorized driving requirements.
