Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join our Birmingham, AL team. You will work as part of a crew to ensure garments are in excellent condition through quality inspection and packaging.

We offer a 40-hour work week with Saturdays and Sundays off, on-the-job training, and a competitive hourly pay plus a comprehensive benefits package including 401K with company match, health insurance, life insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good basic math skills for measurements and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Fold, inspect, and package garments according to quality standards.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Support team with production tasks as needed.

What you'll be doing:

• Fold cloths, towels, and wipers
• Bundle, package, and bag articles in accordance with companyrequirements
• Inspect products for holes, tears, stains, and damage.
• Follow allsafety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
• Perform other dutiesas described by area supervisor or management
• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
