Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner (Garment Sorter & Shipper) to help ensure on-time delivery of garments. In a 5-day work week with weekends off, you’ll work in the Shipping Department and receive on-the-job training to learn the processes.

You’ll perform garment preparation, routing, storage and final checks, while following safety policies and quality standards. This entry-level role offers growth potential within a large garment services company and

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly with management.
• Basic math using US customary units for weight, measurement, volume and distance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until shipment back to customer.
• Perform final inspection to ensure quality standards.
• Prepare garments requiring polybagging/wrapping.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

UniFirst is seeking areliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family.As a Team Partner in the Shipping Department, you will be helping keep ourcustomers on schedule by ensuring on-time delivery of their garments. AtUniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediateopening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing:

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units in weight, measurement, volume, and distance
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
