Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst family in Birmingham, AL. You’ll help ensure garments are in exceptional condition through quality inspection and teamwork.

We offer an on-the-job training program, a 40-hour work week with weekends off, and benefits including 401(k) with company match, health insurance, and paid time off. Career growth is encouraged as many leaders started on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read, write and communicate clearly with management.
• Perform basic mathematical operations using standard units.

Responsibilities

• Fold garments such as cloths, towels, and wipers.
• Bundle, package, and bag articles per company requirements.
• Inspect products for holes, tears, stains, and damage.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will be working as a team to ensure customer garments are always in exceptional condition through quality inspection. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.
