Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Mount Pleasant, TX is hiring for an Production Hourly position on the processing line. You’ll cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry products to meet safety and quality standards, operate equipment, and maintain a clean work area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, poultry or food-industry experience is a plus, and the ability to multitask, communicate clearly, follow simple instructions, and be a team player while working near others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, communicate well, follow simple instructions, and be a team player.
• Must be able to work in cool temperatures and stand 8–11 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, labor and equipment per USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge to promote a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different production areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
