Job summary

Universal Pure, LLC is seeking a Production Team Member for our Night Shift in Georgia. You will follow the Line Lead and shift Supervisor, rotating along the line as needed in a cold, wet plant environment.

Responsibilities include packing/unpacking, loading/unloading, labeling, sorting, and sanitation while maintaining safety, quality, and teamwork on a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing is preferred.
• Forklift or MHE experience is required or preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mental math is required.
• Must communicate clearly in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a cold/wet environment and lift 10–35 lbs repeatedly and up to 45 lbs occasionally; push/pull up to 250 lbs.
• Stand for 10–12 hour shifts.

• Stacking and building pallets.
• Labeling and code dating product.
• Sorting product on the line to remove off-spec product to rework or disposal.
• Cleaning and sanitizing parts of the line during changeovers with PPE.
• Other sanitation duties as assigned and other duties as assigned.
• Rotate off the line to another line or assignment if a machine goes down.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities

• Packing and unpacking product
• Loading and unloading carriers for the HPP machine
• Stacking and building pallets
• Labeling and code dating product
• Sorting product on the line to remove off-spec product to a rework or disposal container
• Cleaning and Sanitizing parts of the line during certain product changeovers. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment for parts of the work assigned (safety glasses at a minimum,, required at all time on the shop floor).
• Other Sanitation duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
• A Production Team Member should expect to be rotated off the line to another line or assignment if a Machine goes down for necessary maintenance or other reason.

Our Day Shift runs from 7:00PM to 7:00PM on a 2-2-3 schedule. (2 days on; 2 days off; 3 days on; then 2 days off; 2 days on; 3 days off - repats every two weeks)

Working Conditions

• This role operates in a cold/wet refrigerated environment (around 34 degrees F) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for 10-12 hours a day.
• This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required.
