Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking Production Team Members for our Muscatine, IA facility. You will perform core production duties in a fast paced, food manufacturing environment, following strict quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates are safety- and quality-oriented, capable of working as part of a team, and able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts with overtime as needed. This is a union plant with strong quality programs.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn safe, proper operation of equipment.

Pay

Starting Pay Rate: $23.43 per hour
Plus shift differential for employees working 2nd or 3rd shift.

Grow Your Pay Quickly

At our Muscatine Factory, employees have a clear wage progression path with increases at 120 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months. By 18 months, employees can reach grade pay ranging from $29.10 to $31.34 per hour, depending on role - an increase of more than $5.67 per hour within the first 18 months.

Employees are also eligible for a $2,500 retention bonus after 6 months.

Work Schedule

Work schedule varies. Must be able to work any shift needed, including overtime.

• 1st shift - Mon - Fri, 6am - 2:15pm
• 2nd shift - Mon - Fri, 2pm - 10:15pm
• 3rd shift - Mon - Fri, 10pm - 6:15am

Start times can slightly vary depending on department or position

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking Production Team Members to work at our facility in Muscatine, IA. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated and be willing to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Must learn the safe and proper operation of equipment.
• Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
• Maintain downtime records during line operation.
• Responsible for conducting and documenting quality checks.
• Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor or Lead.
• Perform sanitation duties on production equipment as needed.
• Proper handling and usage of chemicals.
• Must have the ability to follow written instructions and manuals.
• Must handle Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Support Plant Quality Systems.
• Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMP's and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader
