Kraft Heinz in Muscatine, IA is seeking Production Team Members to operate and support a fast-paced food manufacturing line. You will learn safe equipment operation, perform setup and changeovers, and maintain quality checks while following GMP standards.

Pay

Starting Pay Rate: $23.43 per hour

Plus shift differential for employees working 2nd or 3rd shift.

At our Muscatine Factory, employees have a clear wage progression path with increases at 120 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months. By 18 months, employees can reach grade pay ranging from $29.10 to $31.34 per hour, depending on role — an increase of more than $5.67 per hour within the first 18 months.

Employees are also eligible for a $2,500 retention bonus after 6 months.

Work Schedule

Work schedule varies. Must be able to work any shift needed, including overtime.

• 1st shift – Mon – Fri, 6am – 2:15pm
• 2nd shift – Mon – Fri, 2pm – 10:15pm
• 3rd shift – Mon – Fri, 10pm – 6:15am
• Start times can slightly vary depending on department or position

Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated and be willing to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Must learn the safe and proper operation of equipment.
• Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
• Maintain downtime records during line operation.
• Responsible for conducting and documenting quality checks.
• Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor or Lead.
• Perform sanitation duties on production equipment as needed.
• Proper handling and usage of chemicals.
• Must have the ability to follow written instructions and manuals.
• Must handle Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Support Plant Quality Systems.
• Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMP’s and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader
