Job summary

Magna's Liberty, Missouri facility is seeking a Production Team Leader for the B shift. This hands-on leadership role directs workflow, trains operators, and supports quality initiatives to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will troubleshoot minor equipment issues, coordinate support, lead pre-shift meetings, respond to Andon calls, and drive continuous improvement across the line. Benefits start Day One, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and vacation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing, production, team lead, or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to make decisions, set direction, and prioritize tasks.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and support team members.

Responsibilities

• Train and support operators on machine operation, quality inspections, and standardized work procedures.
• Assist with daily production activities to help maintain safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate support for machine or tooling concerns.
• Monitor product quality and report non-conforming parts to leadership and quality teams.
• Update communication boards and escalate operational issues as needed.
• Complete maintenance work orders and support equipment uptime efforts.
• Conduct daily 5S, safety, and workstation audits.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, concerns, and production updates.
• Respond to Andon calls and coordinate the appropriate support groups.
• Fill in for operators when needed and support production flow throughout the shift.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve processes, products, and workplace efficiency.
