Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, Nebraska is seeking a Team Leader to supervise daily production, ensure safety and sanitation, and adjust staffing to meet urgent production needs.

You will operate equipment per SOPs, report safety and quality issues, and work within GMP and 5S standards while promoting cleanliness and teamwork. Candidates should be reliable, fluent in English, and able to lift up to 50 pounds and work 10–12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to enter production data into a computer terminal.
• Computer skills and ability to learn company programs.
• Able & willing to work all shifts including overtime.
• Lift to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a 10-12 hour shift.
• Work indoors in a cooled sanitary environment (45 degrees or below).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production and assign staffing based on needs.
• Ensure safety, quality and sanitation policies are followed; report hazards.
• Operate equipment per SOP; assist with setup/breakdown and report mechanical issues.
• Serve as safety representative on shift and escalate concerns.
• Meet or exceed daily production standards set by supervisors.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, and 5S; maintain hygiene and housekeeping.
