Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, NE seeks a Team Leader to help oversee sanitation operations, ensure safety and quality, and mentor a day- and mid-shift team across Safety, Production, Maintenance, FSQ, HR and Logistics.

The role emphasizes cGMP, SSOPs, 5S and audit readiness, with preferences for AS/BS in related fields and sanitation leadership experience in food manufacturing; PCQI/HACCP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sanitation leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• AS or BS Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or related field.
• Certifications for PCQI, HACCP or related food safety training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, following safety, quality and sanitation policies and report hazards.
• Mentor and coach day- and mid-shift sanitation team members to drive engagement and internal customer service.
• Plan cleaning schedules and allocate resources for changeovers and daily activities.
• Enforce SSOPs and MSS; support development of sanitation manuals and cGMP practices.
• Prepare the plant to be audit-ready daily by adjusting schedules for staff.
• Manage chemical and consumable inventory across the plant.
• Follow SOPs, 5S practices and maintain hygiene and housekeeping in assigned area.
• Collaborate across Safety, Production, Maintenance, FSQ, HR and Logistics.
