Marking Services, Inc. in Milwaukee is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing staff, plan and coordinate daily activities, and drive continuous improvement to meet quality and on-time delivery goals.

You will mentor team members, oversee safety, and collaborate with Pre-Production, Sales, and Production leadership to align priorities. Strong communication and hands-on leadership are essential to building a resilient, high-performing team.

Formación

• Associates Degree in Business Mgt preferred.
• Not less than 3-5 years prior experience in leading a production team.
• Advanced understanding of production functions and processes, MSI products, MOP.
• Exemplary communication skills, coaching skills and good business judgment.
• Ability to communicate information and respond to questions from production staff, sales and pre-production staff.
• Ability to gather, analyze and interpret detailed information.
• Ability to supervise and delegate; mentor and develop direct reports with hands-on leadership.
• Balance and achieve positive results in quality, accuracy, timeliness, reliability and productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Directly supervises day-to-day activities of Production personnel; fosters growth and development.
• Participates in staff planning, interviewing, selection, and performance evaluations.
• Liaises between Pre-Production, Production Manager and hourly staff for best practices.
• Oversees department for work quality and on-time delivery, including same-day orders.
• Sends daily communications on late shipments and shop hours.
• Responds to lead-time requests from Sales or Customer Service.
• Keeps employees informed of changes; promotes continual improvement through teamwork.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed and materials stored properly.
• Coaches new Team Leaders and supports staff in meeting goals.
• Identifies solutions to improve service and reduce production costs.
