Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Export-controlled data access and eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates workflow through department on a daily basis to meet production schedule.
• Ensures daily production goals are met in both quantity and quality.
• Utilizes production methods that reduce cost and increase productivity.
• Observes and adheres to standards of performance; reports shortfalls to supervisor.
• Ensures maintenance of equipment by TPM or other methods.
• Upholds Howmet’s values and promotes teamwork within and between departments.
• Communicates verbally and in writing with peers, superiors, and external partners.
• Executes assignment instructions for shift operations and overtime as needed.
• Trains operators using one-on-one methods or other techniques.
