Job summary

Berry Global is seeking a dedicated production team member to maintain quality operations on the line and support equipment maintenance. You will train teammates, uphold safety standards, and ensure daily objectives are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should be reliable, able to measure and work well with others, with knowledge of machinery and GMP practices. This role offers full-time hours and robust benefits, aligning with Berry Global’s values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and convey a positive attitude at all times
• Consistently demonstrates essential skills required from all previous levels
• Ensure all production operations are conducted and completed to produce quality product
• Teach team members how to properly maintain equipment
• Train and assist all production team members to ensure they do their job effectively, efficiently and safely
• Follow up with team members work to ensure they are meeting expectations, both in quality and ability
• Keep production charts and notes up to date (Shift Report, Web Eff, & End of shift report)
• Ensure production area is kept clean and tidy
• Set daily objectives and forecast changes to anticipate problems
• Communicate to the next shift and the Operations Manager
• Move bins from quarantine area to packing; and packing back to production
• Maintain knowledge in the QMS and ISO Standards
• Maintain a GUNG-HO attitude in support of the Berry Global vision statement, goals, and company culture
• Follow and encourage GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) Ensure that safety is a priority by following all safety procedures
