Lamb Weston in Twin Falls, ID seeks an Operations Team Lead to identify and manage plant process improvements, oversee production staff, and ensure schedules meet safety and quality goals.

The role focuses on removing bottlenecks, providing essential resources, and driving continuous improvement across safety, cost, and service metrics while fostering an engaged, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or three years related experience.
• Language: Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; communicate effectively.
• Math: Proficient in basic math, graphs, and data interpretation.
• Computer: Knowledge of manufacturing software; MS Office.
• Physical: Regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks in production and resolve issues.
• Provide resources to position the team for success, including materials, equipment and human resources as needed to maintain production schedules.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.
• Oversee various functions of the business and maintain an engaged and team-oriented workforce to improve business results.
• Promote corporate citizenship and sustainable practices and support the local community.
• Participate in training that develops new Operations Team Leads into leaders for future opportunities.
• Help lead and foster a World Class Safety/Wellness culture to recruit and retain talent.
• Help team members develop personally and maximize self-work to identify and execute process improvements.
• Empower production staff to attain production and quality goals.
