Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Lead 005Z at the Storm Lake Pork Plant to assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department activities and communicating instructions to the team. The role supports production progress and ensures safety, quality, and policy compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, performing audits, reporting issues, and aiding with training and onboarding of team members. Overtime and varied shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience with the same employer listed on the application.
• Experience in a lead, trainer, or supervisory capacity.
• Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department operations and workflow.
• Ensure all team members are in their assigned areas at start-up, after breaks, and during shifts.
• Communicate work assignments and Supervisor instructions to team members.
• Monitor progress to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform product audits to verify customer specifications and yield expectations.
• Ensure safety, food safety, quality, and company policy compliance.
• Identify and report equipment issues or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues and escalation when needed.
• Promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
• Assist with recordkeeping, production documentation, and required reports.
• Provide guidance and training to team members and support teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
