Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) in Marion, IL is seeking a Supervise hourly employees, guiding training, motivation, and organization of the workforce. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency of production processes, complete daily logs, and communicate performance across the Daily Management System.

The role requires an Associate's Degree with 3–5 years of experience or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervises production operations for assigned units or during an assigned shift.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees with some responsibility for personnel actions with HR concurrence.
• Ensures safety, quality and efficiency of assigned processes; completes daily production reports and maintains communication boards.
• Monitors output against schedules, coordinates workflow and ensures adequate staffing and inventory.
