Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Camden, AR seeks a Manager, Production to supervise daily production activities, coordinate shift work, and ensure quality and on-time output. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities in a manufacturing environment.

You will monitor performance against schedules, collaborate with maintenance and engineering, and participate in hiring and disciplinary decisions with HR oversight.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education and/or Experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or Business.

Responsibilities

• Manages production operations for assigned units or during an assigned shift.
• Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
• Notifies maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
• Monitors output against schedules or quality goals; coordinates workflow and staffing.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees with HR-related decisions with concurrence from HR Directors & General Managers.
