Eaton Corporation in Wilsonville, Oregon is seeking a Production Lead to guide safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor. This hands-on role partners with the supervisor and VSM to drive High 5 objectives and maintain Tier 1 boards, scheduling, and Labor flex across lines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and strong supervision. Shift is 6:00am–3:00pm; hourly rate is $26.00 with eligibility for a variable incentive plan and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or provide CPT/OPT/STEM OPT for this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate Tier 1 boards and scheduling tools.
• Collaborate with line leads and Production Line Control to flex labor within the area.
• Coordinate labor to and from other production lines.
• Lead Tier 1 meetings and ensure data current.
• Train and support team members in running Tier 1 meetings.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and PLC to identify and resolve production interrupters.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve drawing issues and participate in reviews.
• Communicate Manufacturing Change Notices and ensure area documentation is current.
• Perform required quality checks within the area.
• Support rework activities and lead major rework projects.
• Complete 5-Why analyses as assigned.
• Document rework time in NCR system.
• Ensure training for area-specific skills, 5S+ standards, Kanban, Safety, quality checks, DMR/NCR processes, and access to process documentation.
• Serve as back-up for PLC functions as needed.
• Maintain area tools and visual controls, including shadow boards.
• Use Leader Standard Work to manage daily activities and priorities.
