Job summary

Clayton Supply, based in Morristown, TN, seeks a Production Lead to drive efficiency, quality, and assembly-line production. You will train Team Members for certification and coordinate with area leaders to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include assigning tasks, coordinating with material handlers, and maintaining organized work areas while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; College education preferred.
• Language: Read and comprehend instructions.
• Math: Basic math skills required.

SUMMARY

This position will lead a team to support efficiency, quality and production of an assembly line.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide training for certification of production Team Members
• Communicate materials needs to material handlers
• Support Area Coordinator, Production Manager, and Team members through daily Huddle Meetings
• Assign daily tasks to each Team Member and ensure cross-training/job rotation is being performed
• Ensure organization/cleanliness of work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator and Production Manager
• Other duties as assigned
