Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a production supervisor to lead a team on the assembly line, focusing on efficiency, quality and throughput. You will train team members for certification, coordinate material needs, and support daily huddle meetings with the Area Coordinator and Production Manager.

SUMMARY

This position will lead a team to support efficiency, quality and production of an assembly line.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide training for certification of production Team Members
  • Communicate materials needs to material handlers
  • Support Area Coordinator, Production Manager, and Team members through daily Huddle Meetings
  • Assign daily tasks to each Team Member and ensure cross-training/job rotation is being performed
  • Ensure organization/cleanliness of work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator and Production Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES
  • Attendance/Punctuality; is consistently at work and on time.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook
  • Proven ability to build trust and relationships with other Team members
  • Communicates clearly/concisely with Team Members
  • Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans; uses time efficiently.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); College education preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills required.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to use and regularly check Outlook email.
