BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY is seeking a Team Lead for the Production team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will help ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while supporting a fast-paced operation and a reliable daily schedule.

The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and strong communication. It offers on-site hours with seasonal OT and opportunities to grow within a large, diverse organization that values teamwork and community involvement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of continued work experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
• Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily goals of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity with Supervisor.
• Maintain the delivery schedule daily while ensuring highest quality.
• Monitor productivity levels to meet daily metrics.
• Support production team by ensuring they have what they need to be productive.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to insure completion and quality.

WORK HOURS

1:00 PM - 9:30 PM Monday-Friday, OT as needed and during peak operations from July-Dec each year.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a member of the Production team , the Team Lead is a critical role within our operation and is responsible for ensuring quality screens are produced, problem solving issues and supporting our production team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work with Supervisor on achieving daily goals of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
• Ensure the delivery schedule is being achieved daily, while maintaining the highest quality
• Monitor productivity levels for employees to ensure daily metrics are met
• Support production team by ensuring they have what they need to be productive
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to move insure completion and quality

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.

• Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide numbers

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or GED (required)
• Previous warehouse experience is a bonus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
• Preference will be given to candidates with previous related experience.
• At least 2-3 years of continued work experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
