Job summary

BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY, is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to set up and run single or multi-head machines on site in Grand Prairie, TX. You will load designs, adjust settings, and ensure high-quality stitching across a range of athletic apparel.

The role requires attention to detail, color accuracy, and basic troubleshooting. Regular shifts are 4:00 AM–12:30 PM or 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, with overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with embroidery machines and software.
• Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.
• Capable of troubleshooting machine issues and making necessary adjustments.
• Understanding of design principles to assist in creating appealing patterns.
• HS Diploma or GED (required).
• Previous warehouse experience is a bonus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.
• Ability to read English instructions.
• Learn tasks quickly, be detailed oriented, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
• Candidates are required to see and differentiate colors for accuracy in inspecting the product during and after processing.

WORK HOURS:

1st Shift

Monday - Friday 4:00AM - 12:30PM

2nd Shift

Monday-Friday 1:00PM - 9:30 PM

(OT as required and during peak operations Jul-Dec).

How You Will Make An Impact

The BSN Sports Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining either single head or multi-head commercial embroidery machines to create decorative designs on various types of sporting apparel.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. This role will work in a climate-controlled environment.
