Job Description

• Assigns and directs workers to meet production goals in volume, cost, and quality under supervision.
• Assists in maximizing efficiency and productivity of the team.
• Encourages optimal use of equipment and resources.
• Collaborates with supervisors to plan and fulfill customer orders.
• Performs ongoing quality checks of work and co-workers’ outputs.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Maintains a neat work environment and oversees proper use of supplies and equipment.
• Participates in training and development of team members.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives and team problem-solving.
• Coordinates with other departments and builds rapport for successful operations.
• Handles non-routine issues and communicates organizational changes.
• Manages material flow and assists with loading and moving materials.
• Works with planners to distribute workloads and resolve shop floor issues.
• Provides backup for quality control and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations for disabilities. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
