Description

Daechang Seat Savannah Corp. (DSC), a leading automotive manufacturing firm, is hiring a Team Lead to join its production team in Savannah, GA. As a Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in our projects by supporting our manufacturing process and evaluating employee performance.

Department: Production Team

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Production Supervisor in managing production operators and team members.
  2. Monitor production operations, procedures, and safety to ensure accuracy.
  3. Monitor and evaluate workers' performance and ensure they meet the targets and safety standards.
  4. Active participation in safety initiatives or programs and conduct and assist with team safety training for equipment operators and team members.
  5. Production Team Members must uphold company practices and policies in areas such as Safety, Standards of Conduct, Quality, Performance, and Communication.
  6. Resolve conflicts that may arise between team members.
  7. Act as a liaison between management and team members to facilitate good communication throughout the team.
  8. Read and interpret documents to ensure a seamless production process.
  9. Utilize the ERP system and SAP.
  10. Ensure all team members receive adequate training in their positions, follow all required SOPs, and safety requirements while supporting activities to support the production process.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Valid Driver's License required.
  3. Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in an automotive environment.
  4. Must be able to perform basic to moderately difficult mathematical functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averaging, and percentages.
  5. Previous experience using scanners and WMS is preferred.
  6. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and recognize when and how to effectively collaborate with others.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Highly focused with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

  1. Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
  2. Ability to bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures.
  3. Able to lift, push, and pull products from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs., depending on the location, throughout the shift.
  4. Able to work in a production environment for up to 8-hour shifts and any overtime hours if applicable.
