Position Summary

The Production Team Lead is responsible for supporting the Senior Lead / Packaging Management, ensuring performance aligns with quality, customer satisfaction, schedule, growth, and profitability goals.

Job Duties

1. Identify training needs of direct reports and coordinate training.
2. Supervise work groups as assigned by the Senior Production Lead.
3. Complete daily paperwork.
4. Ensure finished products meet customer specifications and expectations.
5. Manage timely and cost-effective production of high-quality products.
6. Track production, waste, and downtime.
7. Conduct daily line audits.
8. Perform performance reviews.
9. Provide feedback on employee performance, waste, and quality issues.
10. Communicate performance expectations to employees.
11. Participate in setting packaging line goals.
12. Enforce safety and departmental rules.
13. Establish employee rotation patterns to optimize production.
14. Manage 5S and LEAN initiatives proactively.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 4 to 6 years of related experience.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, operate a computer, and have visual acuity. Must frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Use of PPE is mandatory when required.
