Glitch Productions is seeking a Production Systems Lead to own how our production systems are designed, maintained, and adopted across shows. You will bridge production needs with systems, shaping requirements and workflows in ShotGrid and Airtable, and ensure what ships is actually used by production teams.

You will steward production data, set standards, and enable trusted scheduling, capacity planning, and reporting across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience in animation production and exposure to 2D/3D pipelines.
• Expert working knowledge of ShotGrid including schema, pipeline steps, statuses, and permissions.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel for modeling, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Relational data thinking: design entity models and explain trade-offs to non-technical people.
• Experience gathering requirements from busy production teams and turning them into specs for a technical team.
• Experience rolling out workflows and systems with training and documentation.
• Good judgement on what to standardize, with scalable, proportional solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; confident with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in evolving projects.

Responsabilités

• Partner with production leadership to gather, prioritize, and document production system requirements.
• Design production data structures (entities, fields, statuses, pipeline steps, naming conventions).
• Write specifications and acceptance criteria for the Production Tech team and verify implementations.
• Co‑own ShotGrid governance, including schema changes, with the Production Technology team.
• Define and maintain production data standards and a data dictionary for studio reporting.
• Run regular data quality audits and work with teams to fix root causes.
• Own show setup and wrap from a systems perspective with templates and workflows.
• Build and maintain standard production reporting (progress, throughput, capacity, bid vs actual).
• Plan rollouts of new workflows, including training and adoption follow-up.
• Onboard new hires and create role-based guides and reference materials.
• Triage and resolve production system tickets and requests.
