Job summary

Infovisa, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Applications Operations & Systems Specialist to support the hosted environment and proprietary applications.

The role monitors daily production jobs, troubleshoots issues, supports deployments, and performs QA testing to ensure reliability of business-critical systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional experience, strong SQL Server skills, and proficiency in monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three or more years of professional experience.
• Experience with SQL Server and writing/interpreting SQL queries.
• Experience supporting production applications or enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with application monitoring, job scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to remain calm and organized while responding to production incidents.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production jobs and application services to ensure successful processing.
• Troubleshoot failed jobs and service interruptions.
• Monitor and support automated processes, including pricing updates, vendor data delivery, database uploads, and other scheduled services.
• Detect, respond to, and assist in resolving production system outages.
• Assist with software deployments, application upgrades, and database upgrades.
• Perform quality assurance and regression testing for new software releases.
• Participate in release validation activities before production deployment.
• Respond to requests for database backups and database restorations for troubleshooting and research.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
• Develop proficiency in Infovisa's hosted products and operational processes.
• Prepare operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support rotations as required.
• Collaborate with Development, Product Support, and Information Technology to resolve operational issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned
