Job summary

Safran Electrical & Power in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Product Support Specialist to serve as a technical and training resource for manufacturing employees. The role will spend about 80% of time building product knowledge and 20% supporting training and technical activities to uphold safety, efficiency, and quality.

This permanent, full-time position requires a High School Diploma or GED and more than 3 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production floor to meet productivity and efficiency goals.
• Conduct training on work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing processes.
• Support onboarding and qualification of new employees.
• Assist employees in understanding product requirements, process standards, and quality expectations.
• Maintain training records and provide Supervisors all necessary items for any level changes.
• Assist in developing and updating training materials, job aids, and visual work instructions.
• Act as a resource for employees requiring clarification on processes, procedures, or work instructions.
• Assist employees in locating the tools, documentation, and resources needed to perform tasks.
• Support process changes and document control.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Support CAPAs and audit preparation.
