Job summary

Graphic Packaging International, LLC in Perry, GA is seeking a Production Support associate to operate case erectors and manage material handling equipment, ensuring timely case completion and product integrity. The role includes training others, performing maintenance tasks, and executing SAP work orders.

Responsibilities cover maintaining corrugated inventory, staging materials for gluers, managing balers, and safe operation of forklifts and squeeze trucks in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required.
• Candidates must be proficient in English with ability to read and understand work-related instructions and safety procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate case erectors and material handling equipment (forklift, squeeze truck).
• Support gluer uptime; ensure timely delivery of erected cases.
• Train others to operate case erector.
• Perform case erector make readies and maintenance tasks.
• Execute SAP work orders on the case erectors.
• Assist with conveyor jams and inspect incoming corrugate for quality.
• Operate down-stroke baler and manage corrugated inventory.
• Stage corrugated for gluers and bale material.
• Perform daily baler operator inspections and ensure safe operation of equipment.
