Job summary

CCB Packaging is seeking a Production Support Technician to oversee daily production activities and collaborate across departments to maintain smooth operations and quality. The role includes weekend supervision, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with MS Office and production software. Overtime and weekend work are required as part of the shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Production or Manufacturing environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control principles.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production teams and communicate schedule changes to support departments.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inventory levels, and output.
• Monitor production quality and escalate issues to the Production Manager/Supervisor.
• Identify and resolve production delays and implement preventative measures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and promote a safe workplace.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Generate reports on productivity, efficiency, and quality for management.
• Identify training needs and support onboarding of new hires.
• Supervise weekend staff and address questions or issues as needed.
