Our AIRS division designs and builds high‑performance cooled infrared cameras and subsystems, and we’re expanding to serve as a merchant supplier for defense, space, and commercial bases. As the Production Support Specialist, you will own the end-to-end customer experience for post-sale repairs and upgrades, ensuring units are tracked accurately and shipped on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production coordination, customer success, or related roles in manufacturing or defense.
• Proven track record with on-time delivery and RMAs/returns.
• Experience navigating ERP/PLM systems to track units.
• Ability to deliver news clearly to engineers, finance, and leadership.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact for all post-sale RMA activities and relationships.
• Track RMA units in ERP/PLM systems to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide proactive status updates through production, shipping, and return lifecycle.
• Coordinate with operations leaders to resolve conflicts and align messaging.
• Forecast material needs and work with supply chain on kits and POs.
• Oversee shipping/receiving, documentation, ATP testing, packaging, and dispatch.
• Identify drivers of delays and propose process improvements to reduce late shipments.
• Produce detailed repair reports and coordinate with invoicing and shipping authorizations.
