Job summary

Idahoan Foods, LLC is seeking an Operator Helper to support production by performing general housekeeping, moving WIP with a forklift, preparing additive batches, and assisting with line operations. Candidates should be able to follow directions, stay on task, and maintain inventory accuracy while adhering to safety policies and PPE requirements in a fast-paced processing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience around processing equipment preferred.
• Forklift and lockout/tagout training provided by the company.
• Clear communication with the operator is essential to ensure no errors in product.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Idahoan GMPs.
• Follow safety rules and use PPE as required.
• Follow directions from the operator and multi-task effectively.
• Inspect product quality and manage inventory accuracy.
• Assist the operator in clearing jams and starting/stopping the line.
• Report upset conditions or problems to the operator.
• Scrub and clean equipment and maintain area sanitation.
• Participate in cross-training and train others.
• Complete special projects as assigned by operator/management.
• May assist other departments during breaks.
• Maintain attendance per company policy.
