Job summary

Innova Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Production Support Engineer on a 12-month contract to monitor and support critical batch jobs, ETL workflows, and database processes. The role collaborates with L1, development, and QA teams to quickly resolve incidents and improve stability.

Responsibilities include root cause analysis, preventive measures, and coordination across ITSM tooling, controls, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Python for production support, troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, job scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys, and API technologies including MuleSoft.
• Hands-on experience with source control and CI/CD tools, including SVN, Bitbucket, Jenkins, IBM UBuild, IBM UDeploy, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily batch jobs, ETL workflows, and database processes in coordination with the L1 Production Support team.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures across IDMC, Oracle, and distributed systems.
• Coordinate with L1 Support, stakeholders, development, and QA teams to manage and resolve production incidents.
