Job summary

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Production Support Engineer for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor daily batch jobs, ETL workflows, and database processes, coordinating with the L1 Production Support team to ensure stable operations.

Client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Production Support Engineer.

Position Details

• Contract
• Duration: 12 Months
• Location: Charlotte North Carolina

Roles & Responsibilities

Production Monitoring & Support

• Monitor daily batch jobs, ETL workflows, and database processes in coordination with the L1 Production Support team.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures across IDMC, Oracle, and distributed systems.

Incident & Problem Management

• Manage, escalate, and document production incidents using ITSM tools to ensure timely issue resolution and knowledge sharing.

Stakeholder Communication

• Coordinate with L1 Support, stakeholders, development, and QA teams to manage and resolve production incidents.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Python for production support, troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, job scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys, and API technologies including MuleSoft.
• Hands‑on experience with source control and CI/CD tools, including SVN, Bitbucket, Jenkins, IBM UBuild, IBM UDeploy, and Ansible.

Work Eligibility

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $60 - $65/hr W2

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
