Innova Solutions is seeking a Production Support Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Charlotte, NC. The role requires monitoring batch jobs, ETL workflows, and databases; troubleshooting production incidents; and coordinating with L1 teams, development and QA to resolve issues.

Requirements include strong Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Python experience, plus scripting and CI/CD tool proficiency. The position is on-site and paid hourly under a W-2 arrangement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Python for production support, troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, job scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys, and API technologies including MuleSoft.
• Hands-on experience with source control and CI/CD tools, including SVN, Bitbucket, Jenkins, IBM UBuild, IBM UDeploy, and Ansible.

Production Support Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Production Support Engineer.

Position type: Contract; Duration: 12 Months; Location: Charlotte North Carolina

Roles & Responsibilities

Production Monitoring & Support

• Monitor daily batch jobs, ETL workflows, and database processes in coordination with the L1 Production Support team.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures across IDMC, Oracle, and distributed systems.

Incident & Problem Management

• Manage, escape, and document production incidents using ITSM tools to ensure timely issue resolution and knowledge sharing.

Stakeholder Communication

• Coordinate with L1 Support, stakeholders, development, and QA teams to manage and resolve production incidents.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Python for production support, troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, job scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys, and API technologies including MuleSoft.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range*: $60 - $65/hr W2 *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
