Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Production Support Coordinator to coordinate order processing and integrate orders into the MRP system. You will ensure accurate item setup, refine bills of materials, schedule orders, and provide feedback on delivery inquiries to support efficient warehouse operations and production processes.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to multitask, and proficiency with MS Office; experience with MRP/ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years in order processing, materials management, warehouse coordination, or related field.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

The Production Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating order processing and integrating orders into the MRP system. This role ensures accurate item setup and maintenance, refining bills of materials, scheduling orders and providing timely feedback regarding delivery inquiries. The position also supports material management and various documentation needs, contributing to the efficiency of warehouse operations and production processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate order processing and input data into the MRP system.
  • Refine and maintain bills of materials.
  • Set up and maintain item records within the system.
  • Schedule orders and track progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide feedback on delivery timelines and order status inquiries.
  • Calculate lead times and document them accordingly.
  • Produce certification stickers for vehicles based on weight specifications.
  • Assist with material management tasks as needed.
  • Create and maintain various forms and documents, including quality documents, work instructions, training documents.
  • Administer training documentation.
  • Manage quality photo documentation and ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Conduct basic research to support warehouse and production needs.
  • Administer post-sale surveys and compile responses for analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in order processing, materials management, warehouse coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience with MRP or ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and move around a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • May be required to work in varying temperatures depending on warehouse conditions.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels typical of a warehouse setting.
  • Use of a computer for extended periods of time.
