The hiring range for this role is:

107,666.00 - 150,995.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range may depend on factors such as competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay.

Job Description Summary:

Function as a technical resource across several BCBSA projects, focusing on software and infrastructure products developed and supported by IT's engineering and development teams to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs. Provides tier 2-3 product support, interacts with team members, application users (internal and external), cross-functional teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and administer application and server resources, monitor systems, resources, applications, and users to maximize availability.
• Provide estimates for software development activities; develop and refine estimation models.
• Troubleshoot and debug IT systems and products to improve performance; collaborate with business partners and teams for process and testing improvements.
• Follow documentation practices, produce formal artifacts, write clean, standards-compliant code and unit tests, define non-functional specifications, and contribute to system design for supportability and reliability.
• Supervise project teams, monitor milestones and project status, collaborate with internal and external consultants.
• Manage service delivery, architecture, design, capacity planning, technology transformation, budgeting, and Tier 3 troubleshooting.

Required Education, Certifications, and Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years in IT, focused on production support.
• Experience in project teams within cross-functional environments.

Certifications (Preferred):

• SAFe Agilist Certification (SA)
• AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Certified Data Engineer Associate

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Expertise in design, implementation, management/support of IBM Mainframe, MQ Series, Vitria Businessware, Sun/Solaris, AIX, Red Hat Linux, Oracle, DB2, UDB, SQL, Hadoop, Websphere, PeopleSoft, Cognos, BMC Patrol, Control-M, Tivoli; server administration for Windows and Microsoft products.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; team leadership experience; technical problem-solving skills; customer-focused approach; effective communication at all organizational levels.
