Job summary

Land O’Lakes, Inc. is seeking a production team member for the Dairy Foods operation in Vermont. The role focuses on front-line production, operating machinery, and packaging final products while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Shifts are 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 1pm-9:30pm) with possible weekends, overtime, and holidays. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a member-owned co-op known for real, simple goodness in dairy products.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend and follow verbal and written English instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Job description

Pay: $21.25 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.15 per hour (if applicable)

Shift & Working Hours: 2nd shift Monday - Friday 1pm-9:30pm; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
