Job summary

Land O’Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to join our Purina Animal Nutrition manufacturing team in Fremont, Nebraska. You will operate machinery, package final products, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role offers a night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, a base pay of $24.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, and a $1,000 hiring bonus with potential for additional bonuses based on performance.

Production Operator

Pay: $24.50 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00per hour

Hiring Bonus: $500 bonus after completing 30-day period . $500 bonus after completing 6months of employment. Total of $1,000 bonus

Shift & Working Hours: Night Shift; 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate nutritional products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.

Required Experience and Skills

• Must be 18 years or older

• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
