Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator for the 2nd shift in Inver Grove Heights, MN. You will operate machinery, assist with packaging, and contribute to high-quality finished goods.

Starting pay is $24.85 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential where applicable; after mastering three skills, base pay rises to $27.85 per hour. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Production Operator

Pay: Starting $24.85 per hour. Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour (if applicable for shit times). 3 specific skills to learn. Once each skill is learned, a dollar will be added to the base pay. Once fully trained in all three skill sets, base pay will be $27.85

Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed. 30 minute lunch each day, unpaid.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
