Job summary

LG Electronics in the United States is seeking a PP/SCM Associate to support production planning, inventory control, materials management, and supply chain operations to ensure on-time delivery of products. You'll collaborate with Production, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, and Sales teams to monitor demand and maintain inventory levels.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and up to 3 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and inventory requirements.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with Procurement to prevent shortages.
• Analyze inventory levels and recommend actions to optimize stock while minimizing excess inventory.
• Support monthly, weekly, and daily production planning activities.
• Review production performance and prepare planning and inventory reports.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Warehouse teams regarding inbound and outbound materials.
• Maintain planning and inventory data within ERP systems.
• Track KPIs including inventory turnover, production attainment, material shortages, and delivery performance.
• Assist with forecasting activities and capacity planning.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain efficiency and cost reduction.
• Prepare presentations and reports for management review.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
