Job summary

allnex seeks a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment. You will supervise group leaders and operators, plan priorities, and ensure safe, efficient performance aligned with schedule. The role requires at least 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, fluency in English, and a HS diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred).

Availability for 2nd/3rd shifts and occasional weekends is expected. This is an on-site position at our Connecticut facility.

Qualifications

• 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably chemicals.
• Experience in a union environment is a plus.
• Ability to work 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends on occasions.
• Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of all production processes and that employees are working safely at all times.
• Support and comply with all requirements of ISO/QMS and SHE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
• Communicate production priorities to group leaders and operators. Assign daily tasks as needed.
• Administrative duties and tasks such as employee management, coaching, performance reviews, overtime assignments as necessary, shift reports, batch reports, maintenance work orders, incident reports, etc.
• Coordinate and maintain employee training activities and ensure all training requirements are met. Validate employee competencies.
• Prioritize workloads requirements to meet production supply plan demands.
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and outcome on a daily basis.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and production issues to ensure the efficient utilization of equipment, raw materials, and labor to meet production standards. Resolve problems in the production area as necessary.

Required Skills And Experience

• 5 years of previous experience in leadership roles in a manufacturing environment, within chemicals are preferred.
• Experience in a union environment is a plus.
• Availableto work 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends on occasions.
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking) is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in science or Business field preferred.
