No matter which role you step into, you’ll become part of a global team of passionate people who care deeply about the chemistry, quality, and global impact of coatings.

You’ll also join a highly multicultural and diverse team of more than 4,000 employees in four regions who – as part of one of the world’s leading coating resins companies – serve customers in over 100 countries across the globe.

  • Salary range: $80k - $110k (depending on experience).
  • Benefits: 3 weeks’ vacation (pro‑rated this year); 11 holidays a year; Global Bonus Plan; Full medical benefits offered; 401K company match up to 6% (dollar for dollar).
Position Overview

Are you passionate about optimizing processes and driving efficiency? Join us as a Process Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in improving quality, reducing costs, and enhancing operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead projects that boost productivity, and ensure safety and compliance at every step.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with cutting‑edge systems, and making a real impact on production performance, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Define objectives, develop test methods, collect samples, and evaluate results to ensure process reliability.
  • Serve as a technical resource for continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing output and reducing manufacturing costs.
  • Collaborate with operations to identify root causes of issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Develop and execute projects aimed at maximizing production output by reducing downtime, waste, and raw material usage.
  • Manage small capital projects: define scope, provide economic justification, and prepare capital fund requests.
  • Participate in large capital project teams and lead cross‑functional efforts to improve manufacturing and lab batch instructions.
  • Prepare and maintain process safety and operational documentation, including MOCs and pre‑startup safety reviews.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Automated chemical batch manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with technical, production, and maintenance teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of DCS systems; Emerson DeltaV preferred.
