Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Weekend Night Shift to lead manufacturing activities Fri-Sun, 5:00 pm – 5:00 am. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with accountability for meeting production schedules and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a production environment.
• Experience with machine shop, stamping, assembly, or plastic injection molding environments is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of production systems and techniques.
• Ability to understand and use work planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate teams to meet production schedules and safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team objectives.
• Orient, train/develop, motivate, counsel and assist team members in work instructions, production standards, and the balanced flow of work.
• Perform all related supervisory and human resource functions (attendance, incident reports, performance evaluations/counseling)
• Assist in production scheduling/planning, quality, material flow and equipment maintenance
• Audit quality and safety reports and processes to determine cause of issues and ensure corrective actions
• Assign work and special projects to team members to develop experience and flexibility
• Requisition resources and expedite as required
• Act as backup for all team members
• Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks
• Other duties as determined by production and business needs

Your Role on Our Team

The Production Supervisor is responsible for one, or more, areas of manufacturing; knowing and implementing all policies and procedures, mentoring and developing the staff, and ensuring all policies and procedures are met. This position will contribute to team efforts by participating in continuous improvement projects as required.

This will support our Weekend Night Shift, Friday - Sunday: 5:00pm - 5:00am

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading and coordinating teams in manufacturing areas in order to meet production schedules and meet required safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team objectives

• Perform all related supervisory and human resource functions (work assignments, attendance documentations, incident reports, performance evaluations/counseling)
• Assist in production scheduling/planning, quality, material flow and equipment maintenance
• Audit quality and safety reports and processes to determine cause of issues/problems and ensure necessary corrections are performed to maintain standardsDevelop and maintain effective working relationships within team environment
• Assign work and special projects to team members to develop work experience and flexibility
• Requisition resources (supplies, tools, etc.) and expedite as required
• Act as backup for all team members
• Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall goals
• Other duties and projects as determined by production and business needs

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of two (2) years’ experience or equivalent experience in a production environment
