Job summary

AtWork Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor / Scheduler to lead production scheduling and day-to-day manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of commercial architectural millwork production experience, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive on-time delivery for projects in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial architectural millwork production experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising production within a commercial architectural millwork or casework manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial millwork manufacturing processes.
• Ability to identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• AWI technical knowledge.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Experience with production scheduling software.
• Experience with commercial casework and cabinetry.
• Architectural millwork shop leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the plant-wide production schedule using scheduling software
• Coordinate daily production priorities with Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping, and other departments
• Monitor the status of every project throughout the manufacturing process
• Identify potential scheduling issues and proactively address them before they impact delivery dates
• Spend the majority of each day on the production floor monitoring workflow and production progress
• Supervise production work cells and support team leads in achieving daily production goals
• Resolve bottlenecks and reallocate resources to maintain production flow
• Communicate schedule changes, production priorities, and project status to internal teams
• Maintain accurate production scheduling and project status information
• Lead daily production meetings and communicate priorities to shop personnel
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and on-time delivery

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor / Scheduler with commercial architectural millwork experience to lead production scheduling and day-to-day manufacturing operations for a well-established manufacturer in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be an experienced commercial architectural millwork professional who understands production from a practical standpoint and can effectively coordinate people, materials, schedules, and project priorities.
