Job summary

ESAB Corporation in Hanover, PA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing activities in a unionized facility. You will ensure safety, quality and cost targets while driving Lean initiatives and engaging associates across 1st-3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or bachelor's in business preferred.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing; union env. preferred.
• Willingness to work additional hours including weekends.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to interpret a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, cost and delivery goals.
• Lead, coach and develop associates; provide feedback for performance.
• Drive Lean initiatives (6S, GEMBA, RCCM, Visual Management).
• Manage timecards and vacation approvals per guidelines.
• Conduct daily shift meetings and monitor metrics.
• Maintain open communication with adjacent shifts and managers.
